To connect the HUASHENG SM-2112 Soundbar Speaker to your TV, you have two options: HDMI (ARC) and Optical.
1. HDMI (ARC) Connection:
- Make sure your TV has an ARC-enabled HDMI port. This port is usually labeled as HDMI ARC.
- Power on the Soundbar by connecting it to an AC power source and pressing the Power/Standby button until the LED display shows "HDHI" or press the "M" button on the remote control to reach HDMI mode.
- Connect a standard HDMI cable from the Soundbar to your TV's HDMI ARC port.
- If the HDMI ports on your TV are not clearly labeled, refer to your TV's manual to identify the correct HDMI port and check if the ARC feature needs to be manually activated.
2. Optical Connection:
- Connect the Soundbar to your audio device using an optical cable (remove the protective cap on the top of the optical cable before use).
- Select the optical mode on the Soundbar using the unit button or remote control.
- Control the playback features directly on your audio device.
Note: If there is no sound coming out of the Soundbar, ensure that the audio setting on your source player (e.g., DVD player, game player, TV) is set to PCM with optical output.
