To install the TLJ Identity Lock Set, please follow the provided installation instructions and use the drilling/routing template. It is important to note that failure to install the lock set as illustrated in the instructions will void CE, UL, CertiFire, and warranty.
There are two options for lock cases and keeps: American (squared 70mm Backset) and European (radial 60mm Backset). Please refer to the appropriate option for your lock case and keep.
Once the lock set is installed, you can operate it using RFID contactless technology or a smartphone app using BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy).
For RFID contactless operation, you can use MiFare 13.56Mhz key cards, key fobs, wristbands, or sticker tags. When a valid RFID credential is presented to the front panel, it will sound a "beep" and activate the motor, allowing you to rotate the lever downwards and retract the latch. The lock will display a blue LED. If the credential is invalid, a red LED will be displayed and blink a certain number of times. Counting the red blinks can help diagnose the reason for access rejection.
For smartphone app operation using BLE, ensure that you are close to the lock set and that Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone. Within the app (available for iOS and Android), press the unlock icon on the screen. The red and blue LED on the lock set will blink rapidly as the BLE key is being validated. If the key is valid, the blue LED will display, and a beep will sound.
Please note that any changes or modifications to the lock set not expressly approved by the responsible party could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. The lock set complies with the limits for a Class B digital device according to FCC rules.
