To install the TPMS sensor, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the rim hole is clean and free of dirt and debris to ensure a proper seal.
2. Remove the valve cap and nut from the sensor assembly.
3. Insert the valve stem/sensor assembly through the rim hole from the inside of the wheel. Make sure the rubber grommet is firmly seated on the inside of the valve hole of the rim.
4. While holding the sensor assembly in place, hand tighten the nut until snug.
5. Securely fasten the valve stem/sensor assembly to the wheel by tightening the 12mm nut to 44in-lbs (5N-m) using an in-lbs torque wrench.
6. The wheel is now ready for tire mounting.
Please note that the Clamp-In valve stems are interchangeable, but it is recommended to use the same valve stem style as the OEM for safety reasons on speed-rated and high-pressure applications.
It is important to read and follow all instructions and warnings provided in the manual before installing the TPMS sensor. Improper installation may result in the failure of the sensor to operate as designed. If you have non-Original Equipment (OE) wheels and/or tires installed, it is your responsibility to ensure that the TPMS system is working correctly.
