According to the instruction manual for the BLAUPUNKT 5DB96453 Extractor Hood, the anti-grease filter should be cleaned once a month. You can clean it by hand using non-abrasive detergents or you can also clean it in the dishwasher on a low temperature and short cycle. If you choose to clean it in the dishwasher, please note that the filter may slightly discolor, but this does not affect its filtering capacity. Regular cleaning of the anti-grease filter is important to ensure the proper functioning of the hood and to reduce the risk of fire.
