To lock the controls on the Cookology TCH603 Ceramic Hob, you can use the child lock function. Here's how to lock and unlock the controls:
1. To lock the controls, touch the child lock key on the control panel. The timer indicator will show "Lo" to indicate that the controls are locked.
2. To unlock the controls, make sure the hob is turned on. Touch and hold the child lock key for 3 seconds until the "Lo" on the timer indicator disappears.
3. After the "Lo" on the timer indicator disappears, you can start using your hob again.
Please note that when the hob is in lock mode, all the controls except the ON/OFF control are disabled. You can always turn the ceramic hob off with the ON/OFF control in an emergency, but you need to unlock the hob first for regular operation.
It's important to keep the controls locked when there are young children around to prevent unintended use of the hob.
