1. Dash Disassembly - Vehicles without Navigation:
- Use radio release keys to remove the radio and disconnect the wiring.
- Use a panel removal tool to carefully remove the trim panel surrounding the HVAC unit.
- Undo the screws holding the HVAC in place and remove it.
- Unclip the switch panels on either side of the radio opening and disconnect them.
- Undo the screws that surround the radio frame assembly and remove it.
- Unclip the trim panels surrounding the main lower console.
- Remove the factory CD tray/pocket and relocate the DSP controller if applicable.
2. Dash Disassembly - Vehicles with Navigation:
- Use radio release keys to remove the radio and disconnect the wiring.
- Unclip the switch panels on either side of the radio opening and disconnect them.
- Undo the screws that surround the radio frame assembly and remove it.
3. Dash Modification:
- Cut out the highlighted area in the dashboard to accommodate the double DIN unit, being careful not to cut the plastic notches.
4. Dash Assembly:
- Feed the climate control wiring down through the main fascia opening to the lower console.
- Reconnect and secure the HVAC panel using the pre-existing screws.
- Install the new Trim Panel with Pocket and reattach the lower side panels.
5. Kit Assembly:
- Slide the aftermarket head unit into the back of the Double DIN Fascia Bracket and secure it with screws.
- Slide the bracketry through the front of the factory fascia panel.
- Place the Radio Brackets around the radio housing and tighten them with screws.
- Attach the wiring to the back of the unit.
6. Reassemble the dashboard in reverse order of assembly.
