To connect the KVM-tec KT-8113 Full HD KVM Extender Over IP, please follow these steps:
1. Connect the CON/Remote and the CPU/Local units to their respective 12V 1A power sources provided.
2. Connect the USB cable from your PC to the CPU/Local unit. Connect the keyboard and mouse to the remote control unit.
3. Connect the CPU/Local and the CON/Remote units using the network cable.
4. Connect the DVI cable from the PC's DVI port to the CPU/Local unit's DVI port (PC-in 1).
5. Connect the monitor to the remote control unit using the DVI cable.
6. Optional: Connect the PC's audio output to the local audio input using the audio cable. Then connect the remote audio output to the audio cable.
7. Optional: Connect the local audio output to the PC using the audio cable (Audio/in), and connect the remote audio output to the microphone using the audio cable.
8. If using a switch: Connect all endpoints to the switch. Ensure that all connections have a bandwidth of 1Gbps. To share video, you will need a switch that supports IGMP snooping.
