To activate the UV Protect sterilization feature on the Haier AS25QCEHRA-SET Quartz Air Conditioner, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the air conditioner is turned on and in Health mode.
2. In Health mode, the built-in LED UV lights will automatically turn on to kill airborne bacteria and viruses.
3. The UV Protect feature is designed to work effectively under specific test conditions, providing a sterilization rate of more than 91% against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria and the H3N2 virus.
4. Keep in mind that the effectiveness of the UV Protect feature may vary depending on the specific test conditions and the presence of other factors in the environment.
