To assemble the JEGS 81518 Hydraulic Shop Press, please follow the steps below:
1. Before starting the assembly, ensure that you have received all the components listed in the parts list provided. If any components are missing or damaged, please contact customer service.
2. The assembly can be done using basic hand tools. If you encounter any issues or have questions during the assembly process, you can contact the technical support department for assistance.
3. Once you have verified all the components, begin by attaching the two legs (part 1) to the frame (part 5) using the pins (part 2) and springs (part 6). Refer to the parts list for the specific locations of these components.
4. Attach the two adjustment beams (part 3) to the frame using the provided hardware.
5. Install the steel plates (part 4) onto the adjustment beams. These plates are used for supporting the workpiece during operation.
6. Attach the jack (part 7) to the jack plate (part 9) using the provided hardware.
7. Install the mandrel (part 8) onto the jack plate.
8. Finally, attach the jack handle (part 10) to the jack for operating the hydraulic system.
