To assemble the TROY-BILT TBE304 Driveway Edger, follow these steps:

1. Slide the middle shaft onto the lower shafts, ensuring that the throttle cable and wire assembly are positioned towards the front of the unit.

8. Unscrew the oil fill plug and pour the entire container of oil into the oil fill hole. Reinstall the oil fill plug, making sure not to overfill. Do not add oil to the fuel tank or mix oil with gasoline.
9. Slowly remove the fuel cap, fill the fuel tank, and reinstall the fuel cap. Move the unit at least 30 ft. (9.1 m) away from the fuel container and fueling site before starting the engine. Use fresh unleaded gasoline (less than 30 days old).
