To install and use the SANTEC 7099ED-TM 1-2 Inch Thermostatic Trim with 3-Way Diverter, please follow the instructions below:
1. Valve Installation: The valve is not included with the trim. You will need to purchase and install the TH-8300 valve separately. Follow the valve manufacturer's instructions for installation.
2. Trim Plate Installation: Start by turning off the water supply to the shower. Remove the existing trim plate, if applicable. Place the SANTEC 7099ED-TM trim plate over the valve and secure it in place using the provided screws. Ensure that the trim plate is aligned properly.
3. Handle Installation: Attach the "ED" style handles to the trim plate. The handles should easily slide onto the valve stem. Make sure they are securely in place.
4. Temperature Adjustment: The SANTEC 7099ED-TM trim features a thermostatic control for temperature adjustment. To adjust the temperature, turn the handle clockwise or counterclockwise until you reach the desired temperature. The trim is designed to maintain a consistent water temperature throughout your shower.
5. Diverter Usage: The trim also includes a 3-way diverter for controlling water flow to three different outlets. The diverter handle is typically located below the temperature control handle. Rotate the diverter handle to direct water flow to the desired outlet(s). For example, you can choose to have water flow from the showerhead, handheld shower, or both simultaneously.
Please note that these instructions are a general guide. For specific installation and usage instructions, it is recommended to refer to the manual provided by SANTEC or contact their customer support for further assistance.
