To clean the filter on the HILTI VC 30M Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the supply cord plug from the power outlet.
2. Open the two container latches and lift the suction head off the waste material container.
3. Remove the filter lock ( xxxx lock) and carefully remove the used filter. Make sure no foreign matter drops into the turbine aperture.
4. Position the new filter on the vacuum intake and place the filter disc flush on the filter.
5. Install the filter lock to secure the filter in place.
6. Check that the filter element is correctly installed and set the suction head on the waste material container.
7. Close the two container latches to secure the suction head.
8. Connect the suction hose and the vacuum cleaner is ready to use.
Cleaning the filter regularly will help maintain the suction power of the vacuum cleaner. If the filter is heavily soiled or damaged, it may need to be replaced with a new one. Refer to the instruction manual for more information on replacing the filter.
