To install the Brilliant 21845 Belize 52 Inch DC Ceiling Fan with Remote Control, follow these steps:
1. Choose a suitable location: The fan should be installed in the middle of the room, at least 2.1 meters above the floor, and with a minimum clearance of 150mm from the wall.
2. Mount the hanging bracket: Secure the hanging bracket to the ceiling joist or suitable structure using the provided fixing screws. Make sure at least 30mm of the xxxx is threaded into the support.
3. Make electrical connections: Connect the mains supply cable to the terminal block in the canopy. Ensure the connections are firm and all excess wiring is retained inside the ceiling canopy.
4. Attach the downrod: Loosen the downrod ball by loosening the set xxxx . Slide the downrod ball and remove the cotter pin and cross pin. Route the motor wires through the downrod and align the cross pin holes in the downrod with the holes in the motor coupling or yoke. Secure with the cotter pin and tighten the jam screws.
5. Hang the fan: Lift the fan and place the downrod ball assembly into the hanging bracket, ensuring it locks into place. Rotate the fan assembly so that the groove on the ball aligns with the ridge on the mounting bracket.
6. Attach the receiver: Connect the remote control receiver to the bracket and ceiling fan through quick connectors. Insert the receiver into the drop rod hanging bracket and raise the canopy to conceal the receiver and bracket.
7. Secure the canopy: Slide the canopy up to cover the hanging bracket and ball joint, taking care not to damage wires. Secure the canopy with the provided screws.
8. Attach the blades: Attach each blade to the motor housing and secure firmly using the blade xxxx and spring washer. Tighten all blade screws evenly and securely.
9. Optional attachments: If applicable, attach the bottom cover or light kit following the instructions provided in the manual.
10. Balance the fan: Use the included blade balancing kit to balance the fan blades and reduce wobble. Follow the instructions in the manual for the balancing procedure.
11. Install batteries in the remote control: Insert the included AAA batteries into the remote control.
12. Test and operate the fan: Turn on the power and test the fan and remote control to ensure they are functioning properly. Refer to the manual for instructions on operating the fan and remote control.
