To properly use the YPSOMED V01 Orbit Inserter, please follow these steps:
1. Before starting, make sure you have read and understood the Instructions for Use for the Orbit infusion set or the YpsoPump Orbit infusion set.
2. Keep the inserter pointed towards the infusion site and away from eyes and any body part where insertion is not desired.
3. Ensure that the inserter is loaded with a compatible infusion set, such as the Orbit micro, Orbit soft, YpsoPump Orbit micro, or YpsoPump Orbit soft. Do not use the Orbit Inserter with any other infusion sets.
4. Follow the pictures on the box for the usage of the Orbit Inserter. These visual instructions will guide you through the proper insertion process.
5. When ready to insert, activate the inserter while it is pointed towards the infusion site. Activating the inserter in any other direction may result in pain or injury.
6. After use, the Orbit Inserter should be discarded or replaced if it becomes too soiled. You can clean the inserter by wiping it with a damp cloth.
