To set the alarm limits on the GIMA OXY-50 Handheld Pulse Oximeter, follow these steps:
1. Turn on the pulse oximeter by pressing the power button.
2. Use the navigation buttons to navigate to the alarm settings menu. The specific button for accessing the menu may vary, so refer to the user manual for the exact instructions.
3. Once in the alarm settings menu, you will see options for adjusting the high and low alarm limits for SpO2 (oxygen saturation) and pulse rate.
4. Use the navigation buttons to select the parameter you want to set the alarm limit for (SpO2 or pulse rate).
5. Once the parameter is selected, you can use the navigation buttons to increase or decrease the alarm limit value.
6. After setting the desired alarm limit, press the confirm or enter button to save the changes.
7. Repeat the process for setting the alarm limits for other parameters if needed.
8. Once the alarm limits are set, the pulse oximeter will sound an alarm and display a visual alert if the readings go beyond the set limits.
