According to the instruction manual, the Sealey RS105.V4 Roadstart Emergency Jump Starter should be initially charged for a minimum of 72 hours before first use. This initial charge is important to ensure the battery is fully charged and ready for use. After the initial charge, it is recommended to fully charge the unit before storage and not leave it for longer than 2 months without putting it on charge.
