To use the retractable Smooth Track rack lights on the Furman PL-Plus C power conditioner, follow these steps:
1. Locate the dimmer control xxxx on the front panel of the power conditioner. This xxxx controls the brightness of the rack lights.
2. Turn the xxxx clockwise to increase the brightness of the lights. Turn it counterclockwise to decrease the brightness.
3. The xxxx also functions as a momentary power switch for the lights. Push the xxxx in to turn the lights on or off.
4. When the lights are not in use, it is recommended to turn the dimmer fully counterclockwise or push the xxxx to the off setting to maximize the life of the LED lights.
5. The power for the rear rack lights is controlled by a rear light switch located adjacent to the BNC connector on the rear panel. Use this switch to turn the rear rack light on or off.
6. To illuminate the rear of your rack, you can connect any standard (12VAC 0.5 amp) gooseneck lamp to the BNC connector on the rear panel. Furman GN-I and GN-LED accessory gooseneck lamps are recommended for this application.
