To install the SCANSTRUT DS6-P / DS6-P-BLK Vertical Cable Seal, please follow the steps below:
1. Gather the necessary tools: No. 4 xxxx , soft material (e.g., plywood), and hard material (e.g., acrylic, hardwoods).
2. Choose the bung (seal) that is closest in size to the cable diameter you are working with.
3. Prepare the installation location by drilling a hole with a diameter of 2mm (5/64") in soft materials or 2.5mm (3/32") in hard materials.
4. Insert the chosen bung into the hole, ensuring it is securely seated.
5. Place the cable through the bung, ensuring a tight fit.
6. Secure the bung in place using the provided No. 4 xxxx . Tighten the xxxx until the bung is firmly held in position.
7. Double-check the installation to ensure the cable is securely sealed and protected.
