To assemble and install the Hosty 555SS Hot Water Pressure Washer, follow these steps:
1. Unpack the pressure washer carefully and wear safety glasses or goggles while doing so.
2. Cut the strapping band from the pressure washer and pallet.
3. Remove the pressure washer from the pallet.
4. Attach the pressure hose to the machine using Teflon tape on all plumbing connections to prevent leakage.
5. Assemble the pressure hose onto the trigger gun/wand assembly.
6. Make sure all plumbing connections are tight.
7. Connect the water supply hose to the standard garden hose connector. The water faucet and supply hose must be capable of providing 3.0 GPM.
8. Fill the fuel tank with kerosene, #1 grade home heating oil, or #1 or #2 diesel fuel. Do not use gasoline, crankcase oil residuals, or waste oil.
9. Check the pump oil level and fill it to the full mark on the dipstick or to the center of the sight glass window on the side of the pump.
10. If detergents are to be used, only use detergents intended for pressure washers and follow the instructions on the detergent container.
11. Connect the electrical cord to a properly wired three-hole grounded outlet that accommodates the plug on the power cord. Make sure all switches and controls are in the OFF position before plugging in.
12. Install the adjustable pressure nozzle on the end of the wand.
13. Start the pressure washer by turning on the water supply and squeezing the trigger of the trigger gun while turning on the pump switch. If hot water is desired, turn on the burner switch and adjust the thermostat to the desired temperature.
14. To stop the pressure washer, follow the reverse order of the starting procedure.
