To connect your YBA Heritage A200S Integrated Amplifier to your audio sources, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the amplifier is switched off and all components connected to it are set to off.
2. Neatly arrange and organize the wiring to and from your A200S and all your components, separating AC wires from audio cables to prevent unwanted noise.
3. Identify the type of audio input you will be using: balanced audio input (XLR connectors) or RCA audio inputs.
- For balanced audio input: Connect the XLR connectors of your source to the XLR inputs of your A200S, ensuring the correct wiring: Pin 1 - Ground, Pin 2 - Hot (in-phase), Pin 3 - Cold (phase-inverted).
- For RCA audio inputs: Connect the RCA outputs of your source to the RCA inputs of your A200S. Connect the RIGHT output of your source to the R input of your amplifier and the LEFT output to the L input of your amplifier. The A200S allows the connection of up to 5 external, line-level sources.
4. If you want to use a subwoofer or active speakers, connect them to the PRE OUT connection.
5. Connect your speakers to the right and left speaker outputs, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -).
6. Plug the provided main cable into the power inlet of the A200S. Make sure the switch is in the OFF position before plugging or unplugging the mains cable.
7. If you are using digital audio sources, you can connect them to the optical digital input or the USB input. The USB input allows a direct connection to a PC/Mac or a digital streamer/network player. The optical digital input requires an optical cable.
8. If you want to use Bluetooth, switch the A200S source to "BT" status. Enable Bluetooth on your device (phone or tablet) and select "YBA A200S" to pair with the amplifier. Once connected, use your device's playback software to play music.
