Yes, the Whirlpool WVW73UC6LS Wall-Mount Canopy Range Hood can be used in a non-vented (recirculating) installation if it is not possible to vent cooking fumes and vapors to the outside. To use the hood in a non-vented configuration, you will need to fit a charcoal filter and the deflector. Fumes and vapors will be recycled through the top grille. Please refer to the user guide for instructions on installing the charcoal filter and deflector.
