To install the HMS FLB 3209-4G Extension Card, follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have the necessary firmware compatibility. Check the label on the extension card for the required firmware version. Update your Ewon Flexy base unit to the required firmware before inserting the extension card.
2. Before inserting the extension card, remove the slot filler of the location where the card will be inserted. Press on both ends of the cover to remove it.
3. Insert the FLB 3209-4G Extension Card into one of the "B" slots of the base unit. Slide the card down until it clicks into place. Make sure the card is fully inserted.
4. Boot the base unit for the inserted extension card to be detected. Wait for the base unit to complete its boot process.
5. To check if the extension card is detected, access the embedded web server of the Ewon device. Connect your computer to one of the LAN ports of the Ewon device and open an internet browser. Enter the LAN IP address of the Ewon device in the URL field. The default address is http://10.0.0.53. Log in with the default credentials (login: adm, password: adm).
6. Once logged in, navigate to the System page to see the detected extension cards. Click on Diagnostic > Status > System Info > System.
That's it! The should now be installed and detected by the Ewon Flexy base unit.
