The INFRATECH COMFORT CDX024SS CD-Series Quartz Tube Electric Infrared Radiant Heater can be wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted. When wall-mounting, make sure to install the heater at least 18" (45.7cm) away from adjacent walls and 12" (30.5cm) away from the ceiling. The heater should be mounted no less than 6' (1.8m) from the floor if it is labeled as UL Listed, and 8' (2.4m) if it is labeled as UL/CUL Listed. The heater should be set at a downward angle of 30 to 60 degrees. When ceiling-mounting, maintain a minimum clearance of 18" (45.7cm) from adjacent walls and 6" (15.2cm) from the ceiling. The minimum mounting height should be 6' (1.8m) if the heater is labeled as UL Listed, and 8' (2.4m) if it is labeled as UL/CUL Listed. It is important to install adjacent heaters at least 3' (0.9m) apart and not operate the heater within 25' (7.6m) of flammable or explosive materials.
