1. Before installing the RezLok on the door, set the handing direction by ensuring the arrow located on the backside of the front handle is pointing to "L" for left-handed doors and "R" for right-handed doors.
2. Ensure that the holes drilled or machined in the door match the TLJ fitting template exactly. Any difference may void fire test certification.
3. Use the provided drilling/routing template to guide the placement of the RezLok drilling holes. Please note that the drawings in the manual are not to scale.
4. The package includes three sets of fixing screws in varying lengths to suit different door thicknesses. Additionally, there are three types of M6 backplate fixing screws (Type A, B, and C) and two lever spindles of different lengths to suit varying door thicknesses. Use the appropriate screws and lever spindles for your door.
5. The package also includes two M5 back handle fixing screws and requires four AA batteries (not included). For external installations, it is recommended to use lithium batteries instead of alkaline batteries.
6. To operate the TLJ RezLok handle set, you have two options:
a. RFID Contactless: The handle set can be operated using MiFare 13.56MHz key cards, key fobs, wristbands, or sticker tags. Valid credentials will produce a "beep" sound, activate the motor, and display a blue LED. Invalid credentials will show a red LED and blink a number of times, indicating the reason for access rejection.
b. Smartphone App using BLE: The handle set can be operated using a smartphone app (available for iOS and Android) via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and be close to the lock set. Press the unlock icon within the app, and the red and blue LED will blink rapidly as the BLE key is being validated. If valid, the blue LED will display, and a beep will sound.
