To activate the EUROSUL 5322 Lifebuoy Self-Activating Smoke Signal with Light Man Overboard Light and Smoke, follow these steps:
1. Install the bracket: Affix the bracket to the support using the provided xxxx , washer, pressure washer, and stainless nut. Leave it loose initially to be able to place the MOB (Man Overboard) device. Once the MOB is in position, tighten the nut.
2. Attach the support to the bulkhead: Attach the complete support to the bulkhead of the bridge wing in the desired position.
3. Place the MOB in the holder: After fixing the support on the bulkhead, place the MOB in the holder without the black plastic cover.
4. Secure the MOB: Tighten the nut to adjust the MOB's position. Then, put the black cap on.
5. Perform lights test: Remove the white cover and press the black button at the bottom of the MOB. This will turn on the lights and indicate that the MOB is ready.
6. Attach the float: Close the white cover and tie the orange 6mm cable to a float weighing at least 4kg, as per SOLAS regulations.
7. Launch the MOB: Once everything is properly set up, the MOB is ready to be launched in the event of a man overboard situation.
