To adjust the temperature on the TV5213 Series Tempering Valve, follow these steps:
1. Remove the cap of the valve using a spanner.
2. Use a spanner to adjust the valve to the desired temperature. The valve is adjustable from 30 - 55ºC and is preset to 55ºC.
3. Once the adjustment is made, replace the cap on the valve.
Please note that it is important to place the valve at the supply source to prevent un-tempered hot water bursts from being delivered to the outlet. The valve can be installed in a vertical or horizontal position, and all supply lines should be protected by a y strainer or similar.
It is also recommended to thoroughly flush out the system before final installation and commissioning to remove any debris. In known hard water areas, the use of a water softener in the system should be considered to promote ongoing trouble-free operation.
