To connect the invt LSW-3 Stick Logger to your inverter and set up the WiFi connection, please follow the steps below:
1. Assemble the logger to the inverter communication interface as shown in the diagram provided in the user manual.
2. Install or remove the logger according to the instructions provided in the manual.
3. Familiarize yourself with the operations and notices for the Reset button. The manual provides detailed descriptions of the operations and key-press descriptions for the Reset button.
4. Make sure not to remove the waterproof plug on the logger.
5. Set up the WiFi connection on your PC. Please note that the instructions provided in the manual are for reference with Windows XP. If you are using a different operating system, follow the corresponding procedures.
6. Prepare a computer or device with WiFi capabilities, such as a tablet PC or smartphone.
7. Obtain an IP address automatically on your computer or device.
8. Set the WiFi connection to the logger by opening the wireless network connection on your computer or device and clicking on "View Wireless Networks."
9. Select the wireless network of the logger, which will be named "AP" followed by the serial number of the product. Input the password shown on the logger and click "Connect."
10. If the network "AP_(serial number of product)" is not available in the wireless network list, there may be connection or setting problems with the logger. Wait a few minutes to refresh the list or plug in the logger again.
11. After successfully connecting to the logger's wireless network, open a web browser and enter "10.10.100.254" in the address bar. Fill in the username and password, which are both "admin" by default.
12. Recommended browsers for accessing the logger's interface are Internet Explorer 8+, Google Chrome 15+, and Firefox 10+.
13. In the Status page of the logger's interface, you can view general information about the logger.
14. Follow the setup wizard to start the quick setting process. Click on "Wizard" to start and select the wireless network you want to connect to. Enter the password for the selected network and select "Enable" to obtain an IP address automatically. Click "Next" to proceed.
15. If the signal strength (RSSI) of the selected network is less than 15%, indicating an unstable connection, adjust the antenna of the router or use a repeater to enhance the signal. The SSID of your selected router network should be less than 30 characters and should not include blank spaces.
16. The password for the router cannot contain characters such as '&', '#', '%', or blank spaces. The password will be verified, so please wait for a while. If you enter an invalid password or encryption method, an error notice will pop up.
17. Enhance the security settings of the WiFi logger by selecting any options listed and click "Next."
18. If the setting is successful, a page will display indicating the success. Click "OK" to restart the logger.
19. After the restart, if the page does not display automatically, refresh your browser.
20. Re-log in to the setting page and go to the Status page after the Web server restart. Check the network connection status of the logger.
21. After completing the network setting, make sure the Wireless AP mode is enabled and the relative information of your router is displayed on the interface. The Remote server A should also be connected.
