To defrost the freezer compartment of the Beko RCSA330K30XPN Refrigerator-Freezer Type I, follow these steps:
1. Switch off the appliance at the socket outlet and pull out the mains plug.
2. Remove all food from the freezer and wrap it in several layers of newspaper. Store the wrapped food in a cool place, such as a fridge or larder.
3. Place containers of warm water in the freezer to speed up the defrosting process.
4. Do not use sharp or pointed objects, such as knives or forks, to remove the frost. This can damage the appliance.
5. Sponge out the defrost water collected in the bottom of the freezer compartment.
6. After defrosting, dry the interior of the freezer thoroughly.
7. Insert the plug into the wall socket and switch on the electricity supply.
It is important to note that defrosting should be done twice a year or when a frost layer of around 7mm (1/4 inch) has formed. Never use hairdryers, electrical heaters, or other electrical appliances for defrosting.
