To install the Frigidaire GCCI3067AB cooktop, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that installation and service are performed by a qualified installer.
2. Make sure to read and save the installation instructions for future reference.
3. Keep flammable materials away from the cooktop.
4. The cooktop requires a single phase, three-wire or four-wire cable, 240/208 volt, 60 hertz, AC-only electrical supply with a ground.
5. The minimum distance between the cooktop and overhead cabinetry is 30" (76.2 cm).
6. Check the cooktop dimensions and cutout dimensions provided in the manual to ensure proper fit.
7. Avoid storing items in cabinets above the cooktop to reduce the risk of burns or fire. If storage is provided, install a range hood that extends horizontally a minimum of 5" (12.7 cm) beyond the bottom of the cabinets.
8. Locate the model and serial number plate under the cooktop for future reference when ordering parts or making inquiries.
9. Follow all instructions provided in the manual before installing the cooktop.
10. Remove all packing materials before connecting the electrical supply.
11. Observe all governing codes and ordinances.
12. Leave the installation instructions with the consumer.
