To install the LUCiDE 00124 RUBEN Ceiling Light, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the power is isolated before starting the installation. It is recommended to have a qualified electrician perform the installation.
2. Pay attention to the location where the light fixture will be installed. This product is suitable for indoor use only, except for bathrooms. If you plan to install it in a bathroom, please ensure that it has a higher IP degree to be suitable for bathroom use.
3. Make sure the cables are not squeezed or damaged during installation. If the external flexible cable is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, their service agent, or a qualified electrician.
4. Allow the light fixture and bulbs to cool down before touching them, as they can become very hot during operation. Always use the correct bulb type and wattage as indicated on the product.
5. The LUCiDE 00124 RUBEN Ceiling Light is dimmable and controlled by a light switch. It requires an adapter/power grid for power supply.
6. The light fixture has a Class I electric class, which means it has an earth connection. Connect the earth wire (green-yellow) to the earth connection marked with the symbol.
7. The light fixture has an IP 20 rating, which provides protection against contact with a finger.
8. If the protection glass is damaged or broken, it should be replaced immediately.
