To connect your Whirlpool WDT975SAHZSS Smart Dishwasher to Wi-Fi, follow these steps:
1. Download the Whirlpool® app from Google Play™ or the Apple® App Store® if you haven't already done so.
2. Create an online user account within the app. The app will guide you through the steps to set up your account and gather necessary information about your home and energy company.
3. Make sure you have a home wireless router that supports Wi-Fi, preferably with WPA2 security. Check your router manufacturer's instructions to confirm if it is WPA2 capable.
4. Locate the Smart Appliance Identification (SAID) number, model number, and serial number of your dishwasher. These can be found on a label on the dishwasher. Refer to the dishwasher User Guide for the exact location of the label.
5. Open the Whirlpool® app and select "ADD APPLIANCE" to start the process of connecting your dishwasher to your home network and registering it to your user account.
6. Follow the instructions in the app to connect your dishwasher. Make sure your router is on and has a live Internet connection.
7. If the app-assisted setup is not successful, you can follow the alternate setup instructions provided on the Whirlpool website (www.whirlpool.com/connect) or the Whirlpool Canada website (www.whirlpool.ca/en_CA).
Once your dishwasher is successfully connected to Wi-Fi, you can start using the smart features of the Whirlpool® app to remotely monitor, manage, and maintain your dishwasher.
