To install the Garmin XR LVS62 Livescope Transducer on your trolling motor, you have three mounting options: Perspective Mount, Barrel Mount, and Shaft Mount. Here are the steps for each mounting option:
1. Perspective Mount:
- Remove the perspective mode extension arm, front half of the mounting bracket, and short xxxx from parts bag A.
- Remove the back half of the mounting bracket, M6 hex wrench, and four screws from parts bag B.
- Attach the mounting bracket to the trolling motor shaft, aligning the arrows on the bracket. Use the screws and M6 hex wrench to secure the bracket.
- Attach the extension arm to the mounting bracket using the shorter xxxx .
- Attach the transducer to the extension arm using the longer xxxx .
- Secure the transducer cable to the motor shaft.
- Route the transducer cable to the sonar module installation location, ensuring it is not pinched or in contact with the propeller.
2. Barrel Mount:
- Remove the rubber liner from parts bag C.
- Insert the hose clamp through the slot on the trolling motor mount.
- Place the rubber liner against the trolling motor barrel and secure the hose clamp around it.
- Attach the transducer to the mount using the xxxx .
- Secure the transducer cable to the motor shaft.
- Route the transducer cable to the sonar module installation location, ensuring it is not pinched or in contact with the propeller.
3. Shaft Mount:
- Remove the back of the shaft-mount bracket and four screws from parts bag B.
- Remove the front half of the shaft mount bracket from parts bag E.
- Attach the shaft-mount bracket to the trolling motor shaft, aligning the arrow on the bracket. Use the screws to secure the bracket.
- Attach the transducer to the mount using the xxxx .
- Secure the transducer cable to the motor shaft.
- Route the transducer cable to the sonar module installation location, ensuring it is not pinched or in contact with the propeller.
