To install the PAC C2R-GM11b GM Radio Replacement Interface, follow these steps:
1. Connect the speaker-level radio outputs to the C2R-GM11b's speaker inputs.
2. If both the vehicle and the interface chime, move the chime switch to the off position.
3. Make the following wire connections:
- Yellow: 12 Volt Constant Voltage
- Black: Ground
- Red: 12 Volt R.A.P Voltage (1 AMP max)
- Blue/White: Antenna turn on, Amplifier turn on
- Orange: Dimmer/illumination
- Lt. Green: SWC Output Wire
4. If you want to use the SWC (Steering Wheel Control) feature, connect the green SWC output wire to a P.A.C. SWI1 interface. Use the green SWI interface wire and program the SWI interface for version 1. Do not cut the Brown loop.
5. If you need more than 1 AMP from the Red +12v Accessory wire, refer to Fig 1 in the manual.
6. Once the connections are made, test the functionality of the aftermarket radio and ensure that all warning chimes, turn signal indicators, and other features are working properly.
Please note that the above instructions are a summary of the installation process. For more detailed information and illustrations, please refer to the owner's manual provided with the PAC C2R-GM11b GM Radio Replacement Interface.
