1. Preparation:
- Read the mounting instructions carefully and ensure that all items from the parts list are included.
- Park your vehicle safely and make sure it cannot fall over.
- Turn off the engine and remove the ignition key.
- Let the motor/exhaust cool off if necessary.
- Disconnect the vehicle battery when working on the electrical system.
- Use appropriate tools.
- Have another person to help you.
2. Mounting:
- Remove the screws of the side fairings on both sides and push the side fairings slightly outwards.
- Attach the mounting bracket (left) to the vehicle as shown in the drawing. Use a medium-strength liquid thread locker and tighten the xxxx with the manufacturer's specified torque.
- Attach the mounting bracket (right) to the vehicle as shown in the drawing. Use a medium-strength liquid thread locker and tighten the upper xxxx with the manufacturer's specified torque. Tighten the lower xxxx as specified.
3. Mounting the EVO high beam lights:
- The lights can be mounted in a hanging, standing, or lateral position. Make sure the "TOP" mark is on top due to the reflector angle.
- Attach the mounting adapters to one of the mounting points as shown in the drawing. Use a medium-strength liquid thread locker and tighten the xxxx as specified in the parts list.
- Attach the mounting adapters to your light mount or light clamp by SW-MOTECH. Use a medium-strength liquid thread locker and tighten the xxxx as specified in the parts list. Also, tighten the screws of the light clamps as specified in their mounting instructions.
- Adjust the inclination angle of the lights using the marked screws of the mounting adapter.
4. Wiring:
- Disconnect the battery.
- Mount the WHITE cable of the cable harness to the positive pole of the battery.
- Mount the BLACK cable of the cable harness to the negative pole of the battery.
- Attach the cable harness with the cable ties to the cable harness of the vehicle.
- Use the branch connector to connect the cable harness to the switched positive pole. Connect the cable with the branch connector and close the snap fastener to secure the connection.
- Ensure that the relay is securely attached in an area that will not be affected by water.
5. Function check:
- After installation, ensure that all parts and connections previously removed are properly replaced.
- Make sure that no moving parts are obstructed and no function of the vehicle is hindered.
- Cables and hoses must not rub or be pinched.
- Perform a comprehensive check of all functions before starting to ride.
- After the first 50 km and at regular intervals, check the tightening torque of all xxxx connections and the proper fit of the product.
