To install the Sirman Raffaello 350 EVO Raffaello Extra Heavy Duty Slicer, please follow these step-by-step instructions:
1. Unpack the slicer: Remove the straps from the package and lift the cardboard to reveal the machine on the pallet, blade extractor, 4 feet, and any additional components included in the package.
2. Position the pallet: Place the pallet, with the slicer, on a flat surface.
3. Remove the sharpener: Take off the sharpener from the slicer.
4. Turn the machine on its side: Carefully turn the machine on its side to access the fastening nuts.
5. Unscrew the fastening nuts: Using the provided wrench, unscrew the 4 nuts that fasten the slicer to the pallet.
6. Remove the washers and tie rods: Take off the 4 washers and unscrew the 4 fastening tie rods on the wooden pallet.
7. Attach the feet: Fasten the 4 feet provided to the bottom of the slicer.
8. Put the sharpener back in place: Finally, put the sharpener back in its place.
9. Position the slicer: Place the in the desired location. Ensure that the installation surface is wide enough, well-leveled, dry, smooth, robust, and stable. The slicer should be positioned about 80 cm high off the ground and at least 20 cm away from walls, objects, shelves, etc.
10. Check alignment of the blade-plane thickness gauge: Run a finger from the blade towards the thickness gauge plane to check alignment. Adjust the foot until the correct alignment is achieved, then xxxx the rubber part to fix everything in place.
11. Electrical connection: Check the electrical connection requirements for your specific model (single-phase, 230V; three-phase, 230V or 400V). Ensure that the electrical system is standard and that the cable and grounding system are in proper working order. Follow the instructions in the manual for the specific electrical connection.
12. Operational check: Before using the slicer, perform an operational check to ensure that all components are properly installed and functioning. Check the plate, goods presser arm, thickness gauge, and sharpener.
