To connect your TCP Smart lighting to the app using AP Mode, please follow these steps:
1. On the home screen of the TCP Smart app, press the blue ADD DEVICE icon (+).
2. Select the LIGHTING group from the menu and choose the type of lighting you want to set up.
3. Click on EZ MODE and select AP MODE from the menu, then click next.
4. If your light is not already fitted, install it now. Once fitted, the light should start flashing quickly. Click next.
5. If the light does not flash quickly, turn it off for 10 seconds, then turn it back on and off three times (ON-OFF, ON-OFF, ON-OFF, ON).
6. Now that your light is flashing quickly, put it into AP Mode by turning the bulb off and back on again three times (OFF-ON, OFF-ON, OFF-ON). The lights should now be flashing slowly. Click NEXT.
7. Choose your WiFi network, enter your password, and click NEXT.
8. Click the GO CONNECT button to connect directly to your light. Select SMART LIFE from the list of available networks. Once selected, return to the TCP Smart App.
9. Wait a few moments for your light to be added.
10. Your lights are now connected. You can rename them and choose the room in which they are fitted. To finish, click DONE. Your lights can now be controlled within the TCP Smart App.
