To enable PowerMatch on the iFi audio hip-dac, simply switch the PowerMatch toggle switch to the "on" position. PowerMatch allows the hip-dac to match the impedance and sensitivity of your headphones, optimizing their performance. It is recommended to have PowerMatch on when using headphones. However, for in-ear monitors or earbuds, it is advised to turn PowerMatch off.
