To change the brightness levels on the RovyVon Defense Series GL7 Tactical Flashlight, you can use the side switch for daily use or the tail switch for tactical and emergency situations. 

For the side switch (daily use):
- To turn on the flashlight, rapidly double-click the side switch.
- To change the mode, when the flashlight is turned on, click the side switch to cycle through Low-Medium-High-Turbo.
- To turn off the flashlight, press and hold the side switch for 0.3 seconds.
- To adjust the brightness using the ramping feature, from off, press and hold the side switch to adjust the brightness from 10-1500 lumens. Release to select the desired brightness level, and click to turn off.
- The flashlight will remember the last-used mode when turned on next time.

For the tail switch (tactical & emergency):
- From the off position:
  - Half press the tail switch to switch between Strobe - SOS - High. Release to turn off or full press to select the mode for constant on.
  - To set the default mode of the first half press/full press, leave the mode working for over 3 seconds.
  - To turn off the flashlight, full press the tail switch.
- From the on position:
  - Half press or full press the tail switch to activate Strobe mode.
  - From Strobe mode, full press the tail switch to turn off the flashlight.
