To install the Lucci air 213182 Atlanta DC Ceiling Fan, follow these steps:
1. Start by installing the mounting bracket to the ceiling joist or structure using the provided screws. Make sure the bracket is capable of supporting the weight of the fan.
2. If you have an angled ceiling, make sure the fan hanging system supports a maximum 9-degree angled installation.
3. Install the blades by inserting them into the slot of the rotating member of the fan motor assembly. Align and engage the holes of the blades with the blade bracket. Secure the blades using the provided screws and washers, making sure to tighten them evenly.
4. If you have a light kit, it must be installed by a licensed electrician. Align the slot screws of the motor part with the keyhole slots of the light kit bracket. Turn the light kit bracket anticlockwise until the slot screws are firmly at the end of the slots. Tighten the xxxx and the slot screws to secure the light kit bracket. Install the lamp to the GX53 lamp holder.
5. If you have a non-light decoration plate, remove the lamp from the GX53 lamp holder and install the non-light decoration plate on the light kit bracket.
6. Lift the fan assembly onto the mounting bracket, making sure the key slot of the hanger ball is positioned on the key pin of the mounting bracket to prevent rotation during operation.
7. Connect the live, neutral, and earth wires from the mounting bracket to the corresponding supply wires. Plug the connectors from the supply wiring to the input of the DC motor driver/receiver. Plug the light and fan connectors from the DC motor driver/receiver to the input wires of the fan motor and the light kit. Insert the remote receiver above the hanger ball in the remaining spacing in the mounting bracket.
8. Install the canopy by sliding it up to the mounting bracket and aligning the keyholes on the canopy with the screws on the mounting bracket. Turn the canopy until it locks into place and secure it by tightening the two screws.
9. If desired, install the remote control holder on a suitable wall using the provided screws. Slide the remote into the holder.
10. Finally, turn on the mains supply and use the remote control to operate the fan and light functions.
