To clean the iBELL IBL SM 515 Sandwich Maker, follow these steps:
1. Before cleaning, turn off the power at the power outlet and unplug the appliance. Allow it to cool before cleaning.
2. Wipe the cooking plates with a soft cloth to remove any food residue.
3. For baked-on food residue, squeeze some warm water mixed with detergent over the residue. Clean with a non-abrasive plastic scouring pad or place wet kitchen paper over the grill to moisten the residue.
4. Clean the drip tray after each use by removing it and washing it in warm, soapy water. Avoid using scouring pads or harsh detergents as they may damage the surface.
5. Rinse the drip tray thoroughly and dry it with a clean, soft cloth before replacing it.
It is important to clean the sandwich maker after each use to prevent a buildup of baked-on foods. Cleaning the appliance when it is slightly warm makes it easier to remove any residue.
