To properly install the Miller Beam Trolley and Painter's Trolley, follow these steps:
1. Select an approved mounting location (beam for the Beam Trolley, rail/rod for the Painter's Trolley) that meets or exceeds all installation requirements.
2. Assemble the trolley prior to installation and adjust the spacer washers to ensure proper alignment with the beam flange or rail/rod diameter.
3. Lift the trolley into position on the beam flange or rail/rod and slide the loose trolley side flange back into position. Replace the spacer washers and hand-tighten the assembly bolt and nut.
4. Verify that there is no more than 1/8" (3mm) of clearance between the sides of the beam flanges or rail/rod and the adjacent side rollers. Adjust the spacer washers if necessary.
5. Tighten the attachment bolt and nut to approximately 30-40 ft. Ibs.
6. Insert the provided cotter pin into the hole in the end of the attachment bolt and through the cut-outs in the attachment nut. Bend the ends of the cotter pin to prevent disengagement.
7. Apply grease to each of the grease fittings on the Beam Trolley (if applicable).
It is important to refer to the instruction manual for detailed diagrams and illustrations specific to your trolley model. Always ensure that the trolley is installed by trained and competent personnel and that all safety precautions and guidelines are followed.
