To install the Smappee EV Wall Business Electric Vehicle Charging Station, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the installation by ensuring you have an ethernet cable with stable internet connectivity and a power supply cable between the distribution panel and the EV Wall Business.
2. Optional: If you want to use the Smart Charging functionality, install Smappee Infinity in the distribution panel. You can refer to the Infinity installation manual for more information.
3. Fix the mounting plate to the wall using the provided plugs and screws.
4. Attach the EV Wall Business housing to the EV Wall mounting plate using the provided small screws.
5. Connect the power supply cable, ethernet cable, and charging cable (if applicable) to the EV Wall Business. Refer to the diagrams in the manual for guidance. If you have a 3-phase delta (3*230 V) installation, please consult the full manual online for specific instructions.
6. Switch on the power using the circuit breaker.
7. Download the Smappee App and follow the instructions to configure your Smappee charging station. If you already have an Infinity installation, make sure to add the charging station to the existing Smappee location.
8. Connect the B cable to the B port of the LED board. Then attach the front cover to the EV Wall to close it. Note that only the B cable should be connected to one of the B ports on the LED board. Do not attach anything to the A port and RJ45 port of the LED board.
9. Create a user account for the customer and share the location with this new username. Write down the username, password, and email address on the Member card for future reference. This user account can be used in the Smappee App and Dashboard to set smart charging schedules.
