To adjust the grinding degree on the ROMMELSBACHER EKM 400 Coffee Mill with Conical Burr Grinder, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the appliance is unplugged before making any adjustments.
2. Place the beans container on the base unit and ensure it is correctly inserted.
3. Open the lid of the beans container and fill it with whole, roasted beans. Fill the container to a maximum of 1 cm below the edge. The maximum filling quantity is 220 g, depending on the beans used.
4. Close the lid of the beans container.
5. Turn the built-in beans container to the right or left to adjust the grinding degree. Hold the unit with your free hand to prevent it from slipping.
6. The grinding degree is indicated by the small arrow marking on the bean container and the printed scale on the base unit. Setting "1" means very fine powder, and setting "35" means very coarse ground powder.
7. Find the desired grinding degree by adjusting the bean container accordingly.
8. Once you have set the desired grinding degree, the appliance is ready to use.
Note: The grinding degree may vary depending on the type of coffee beans, roast level, and personal preference. It is recommended to experiment with different settings to find the perfect grind for your taste.
