To update the debugger firmware on the LPCXpresso845MAX board, follow these steps:
1. Download the debugger firmware image (firmware.bin) from the NXP website (http://nxp.com/demoboard/om13097) under the Software and Tools tab.
2. With the board unpowered, install jumper JP3.
3. Power the board and connect it to your computer. The board will appear as a device called CRP_DISABLED.
4. Delete the firmware.bin file on the CRP_DISABLED drive.
5. Drag and drop the downloaded firmware.bin file onto the CRP_DISABLED drive.
6. Remove jumper JP3, unplug the board, and then plug it back in.
7. Wait for the board to enumerate on your system, which may take 20-30 seconds.
After following these steps, the debugger firmware on the LPCXpresso845MAX board will be updated.
