To install the Danfoss RT 2 Thermostat, follow these steps:
1. Start by attaching the included set of Pg13.5 cable glands to the thermostat. This is necessary to achieve the desired IP66 (units with automatic reset) or IP54 (units with external reset) grade of enclosure. Refer to Figure 2 in the manual for the assembly instructions.
2. If you are not using the cable gland with a cable, you should also assemble a metal blinding.
3. Use the mounting holes provided on the thermostat to fix it to the desired location.
4. The bulb of the thermostat should be fixed to the wall using a bulb holding bracket.
5. If you want to install the bulb in a water or brine tank, you can use either a capillary stuffing box or a bulb pocket. These accessories can be obtained separately.
6. For the electrical connection, refer to Figure 14 in the manual. The terminals are labeled with numbers 1-4.
7. The earth terminal (labeled as 38) should be connected to earth.
