To install the Optoma OWM3000 Ultra Short Throw Projector Mount, please follow the steps below:
1. Begin by locating a suitable mounting surface, such as a stud wall, where you want to install the projector mount.
2. Ensure that the surface is strong enough to support the weight of the mount and the projector.
3. Use a stud finder to locate the studs in the wall, as the mount is compatible with stud walls.
4. Once you have identified the studs, mark the desired mounting position on the wall.
5. Take the mounting plate and align it with the marked position on the wall. Use a level to ensure that it is straight.
6. Use the included screws and washers to secure the mounting plate to the wall. Make sure to tighten them securely.
7. Next, attach the telescopic arm to the mounting plate. Align the holes on the arm with the corresponding holes on the mounting plate.
8. Insert the included screws through the holes and tighten them securely using the provided Allen keys.
9. Adjust the arm to the desired position by loosening the adjustment knobs and sliding the arm horizontally or vertically. Once in the desired position, tighten the knobs to secure the arm.
10. Connect the projector to the mounting plate using the appropriate mounting holes or brackets on the projector.
11. Use the included cable management system to neatly organize and conceal the projector cables.
12. Finally, adjust the pitch, roll, and yaw of the projector mount as needed using the adjustment knobs. These allow you to fine-tune the projection angle for optimal viewing.
Please refer to the user manual for more detailed instructions and illustrations on the installation process.
