To set up and use the Intermec PC Series USB-to-Parallel Adapter with your PC23 or PC43 Desktop Printer, please follow these instructions:
1. Ensure that your PC23 or PC43 Desktop Printer is powered off and disconnected from the power source.
2. Locate the USB port on the back of your printer. This is where you will connect the USB end of the adapter.
3. Connect the USB end of the adapter to the USB port on the printer.
4. Locate the parallel port on the back of your printer. This is where you will connect the parallel end of the adapter.
5. Connect the parallel end of the adapter to the parallel port on the printer.
6. Once the adapter is securely connected to both the USB and parallel ports, connect the USB end of the adapter to an available USB port on your computer.
7. Power on your printer and wait for your computer to recognize the new hardware.
8. Install any necessary drivers for the adapter. You can find the drivers on the Intermec website or on the CD that came with the adapter.
9. Once the drivers are installed, your computer should recognize the printer as a parallel device.
10. Open the printer settings on your computer and select the newly installed printer as the default printer.
11. You can now use your PC23 or PC43 Desktop Printer with the USB-to-Parallel Adapter.
