The Hama 00121702 Active DVB-T2 Indoor Antenna can be powered in three different ways:
1. Powering the antenna using the antenna cable:
- Connect the coaxial cable of the antenna to the antenna input on your digital TV or set-top box.
- Turn the xxxx on the antenna clockwise to switch it on. The LED indicator will light up.
- Switch on your digital TV (and set-top box, if applicable).
2. Powering the antenna directly using the USB port of the digital TV/set-top box:
- Connect the coaxial cable of the antenna to your digital TV or set-top box.
- Connect the USB cable to an unused USB port on your TV or set-top box.
- Turn the xxxx on the antenna clockwise to switch it on. The LED indicator will light up.
- Ensure that your set-top box or digital TV is switched on.
3. Powering the antenna using an external power supply unit:
- Connect the coaxial cable of the antenna to the antenna input on your digital TV or set-top box.
- Connect the USB cable to the antenna and to a suitable USB power supply unit (not included) and plug it into a socket.
- Turn the xxxx on the antenna clockwise to switch it on. The LED indicator will light up.
- Switch on your digital TV (and set-top box, if applicable).
Note: When powering the antenna directly from the set-top box or digital TV, make sure that the device provides a supply voltage of 5V. Adjust any necessary settings in the menu.
