To install the Intermec CN3 Vehicle Dock, please follow the steps below:
1. Contact your Intermec sales representative to order the appropriate accessories for the vehicle dock.
2. Once you have received the necessary accessories, locate a suitable mounting location inside your vehicle. Ensure that the location allows for easy access to the CN3/CN4 mobile computer.
3. Connect the power cable from the vehicle's power source to the power input on the vehicle dock. Make sure to use the appropriate power cable provided with the dock.
4. Connect the serial cable from the vehicle dock to the serial port on the CN3/CN4 mobile computer. Ensure that the cable is securely connected.
5. Mount the vehicle dock securely in the chosen location using the provided mounting hardware. Ensure that the dock is stable and does not obstruct the driver's view or interfere with the vehicle's operation.
6. Once the dock is installed, place the CN3/CN4 mobile computer into the dock. Ensure that it is securely seated and properly aligned with the dock's connectors.
7. Power on the vehicle's ignition to provide power to the dock and the CN3/CN4 mobile computer.
8. The CN3/CN4 mobile computer should now be powered and connected to the vehicle dock. You can now use the serial connectivity provided by the dock for data transfer and communication.
