To properly inflate the tires on your Razor RDS Off Road Dirt Scooter, you will need a bicycle-style tire pump equipped for a Schrader-type valve. The tires are already partially inflated when shipped, but it is recommended to check and adjust the tire pressure before the first time use.
1. Locate the Schrader valve on the tire. It is similar to the valve found on a car tire.
2. Attach the pump nozzle to the valve and ensure a secure connection.
3. Begin pumping air into the tire. Refer to the sidewall of the tire for the recommended PSI (pounds per square inch) rating. The recommended PSI for the RDS scooter is 60 PSI.
4. Inflate the tire to the recommended PSI, making sure not to exceed the maximum PSI rating indicated on the sidewall of the tire.
5. Once the desired pressure is reached, remove the pump nozzle from the valve and securely close the valve cap.
It is important to regularly check the tire pressure and adjust as needed to ensure optimal performance and safety. Over-inflation can cause a rupture, while under-inflation may result in additional wear on the tires.
